We are pleased to welcome you to our virtual SEACOEM fall meeting.

As always, we have a great line-up of speakers. We are honored to have Dr. Laura Gillis, ACOEM
President and former Chief Medical Officer at Union Pacific Railroad, giving a talk on
railroad medicine: “Why Railroads are Special”. We are also fortunate that Dr. John Downs,
who among other roles is the Director of the Virginia Poison Center, is returning as a
speaker, this time to discuss “Lead Poisoning: A Practical Update for Occupational
Medicine”.

The conference also includes a series of case presentations on challenging current topics facing
occupational medicine clinicians. Each case will be followed by a brief panel discussion with the
opportunity for the audience to ask questions.
This year’s conference will include 2.5 hours of CME and is being offered at no cost.

In anticipation of a possible joint SEACOEM/MARCOEM in-person conference next year, we are
pleased to welcome MARCOEM members to join our virtual meeting.
And thanks to our planning committee and speakers for all of their efforts.
